Eriko is a wonderful amateur artist from Tokyo. She loves the faces and
bodies of beautiful girls, especially American pin-up models from the
1950s. Eriko is also attracted to the beauty of Japanese traditional art
such as Ukiyo-e and kimono. She then combines these elements to create
something very unique and fantastic. She has taken Bettie Page and
placed her in a Japanese setting. Bettie looks natural and happy in
Eriko's dreamy world.
Eriko has recently released an edition of prints titled "kimono bettie"
(see the last three scans). These 3 prints are limited to 5, signed,
stamped, printed on heavyweight Epson Photo Paper, paper size- (11.75 x
8.75"), image size- (10 x 7.5") and published in 2011.
