Bunny Yeager photographed many beauties during the 1950s up until the
present time. Many made it to the pages of Playboy magazine. Some of the
most beautiful work she did was with Bettie Page. The first set of scans
are from their initial meeting in 1954. Even though they worked together
after that, the magic from their first photo session would be hard to
top (although some of the beach shots hold a special place in my heart).
When you look at Bunny Yeager's work, it's easy to see how much better a
one-on-one photo session is than a camera club outing. Much of the
camera club work is haphazard at best and sometimes the photographer
just worried about Bettie looking their way. Maybe they wanted a
particular shot but just couldn't negotiate it amongst the throng of
photographers. I love Bunny Yeager's work as Bettie preferred working
outdoors and Bunny has a particular style which is uniquely her own.
